Established in 1999, MEASI Academy of Architecture (MAA) is a leading institution in Chennai, affiliated with Anna University and recognized by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi. Campus and Infrastructure – MEASI Academy of Architecture

MEASI Academy of Architecture (MAA) is spread across a 2.85-acre campus in Chennai, providing a modern and well-equipped learning environment. The institution features ICT-enabled classrooms, 11 studio-lecture halls, 7 studios, and 3 lecture halls for undergraduate students, along with 4 dedicated studios for postgraduate studies.

MAA houses specialized laboratories, including a computer lab, climatology lab, survey lab, and acoustics & lighting lab, supporting hands-on learning. The library offers over 8,000 books, journals, and access to global architectural databases. Research and collaboration spaces include a dedicated research center, seminar halls, and exhibition areas for student work.

Student facilities include a boys’ hostel with a capacity of 100 students, a cafeteria, and sports amenities such as basketball and football courts, indoor games, and a gym. Admission

MEASI Academy of Architecture (MAA) follows a merit-based admission process for its B.Arch and M.Arch programs, in accordance with Anna University and Council of Architecture (COA) guidelines.

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) – 5 Years

Eligibility:

• 10+2 (HSC) with Physics and Mathematics + NATA qualification
• OR 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with Mathematics
• Admission is based on NATA scores and academic performance.

M.Arch (Master of Architecture) – 2 Years

Eligibility:

• B.Arch degree from a recognized university.
• Qualification in PGETA or Consortium Entrance Test.

Annual Fees

• B.Arch: ₹1.0 – ₹4.0 lakh per year
• M.Arch: ₹1.5 lakh per year
