Overview

Founded in 1992, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT University), Bhubaneswar is an autonomous university located in Bhubaneswar. The university offers under-graduate and post-graduate courses in Engineering, Bio-technology, Medicine, Management, Law, Computer application, Rural management, Fashion, Film Studies, Journalism and Sculpturing.

KIIT’s mission is to impart quality technical and professional education of international standards and imbibe skills for solving real world problems.

Campus

The 29 acre KIIT campus hosts air-conditioned classrooms, LCD projectors, well-stocked library, well-equipped laboratories, computer lab with 24*7 internet and intranet access, and a world-class auditorium with a seating capacity of 1600.

Other facilities include railway reservation centre, post office, bank and ATM.

Sports facilities include basketball court, volley ball court, badminton court, cricket ground, swimming pool, and multi-gym.

It has also been ranked 18th among private engineering institutes and 7th in placement in 2008 by Outlook India.
