Sarala Birla Academy is proud to announce its association with the International Foundation for Sustainable Peace and Development (IFSPD), a global institution founded by leaders from over 60 nations. As a partner of the United Nations, IFSPD is one of the world’s largest organizations focused on sustainability and global development.

As part of its efforts to expand school-based hubs, IFSPD has chosen to establish its presence in India. After a rigorous selection process involving extensive research, interviews, and evaluations, a select group of schools from India and South Asia were identified—SBA being one of them. This recognition underscores SBA’s commitment to fostering global awareness and leadership among its students.

In January, IFSPD selected four students from India to participate in the prestigious Youth Panel at the Davos Worldwide Conference in Switzerland. Remarkably, two of them were from SBA.

Master Yog Narendrakumar Sinojia represented SBA as a panelist for the discussion on How the youth can help improve collaboration in a fractured world. His session was moderated by Dr. Tamas Landesz, Director of Administration and Finance at the World Health Organization (WHO).

Master Rishabh Pandey was a panelist for the session on The future of the world from the perspective of the youth, moderated by Dr. Maria Cândida Mousinho, Professor and Researcher at the Post-Graduation Program on Energy and Environment, Bahia.

This partnership with IFSPD opens doors for SBA students to engage with international leaders, gain insights into global challenges, and actively contribute to discussions on sustainability and peace. It marks an important step in strengthening SBA’s position as an institution dedicated to holistic education, leadership, and global citizenship.
