These claims, made just hours before her death, suggest that her suicide might have been linked to the mistreatment she experienced at work.

Kaur’s brother filed an FIR at the Dakshineswar police station, naming the principal and management committee members and accusing them of abetting suicide. Following this, the police have questioned the school authorities. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities speaking to Kaur’s neighbors and the parents of students to gather more details.

Kaur had been living alone in the apartment as her sons reside abroad. The police investigation is focused on understanding the circumstances leading to her tragic death, while also shedding light on the broader issue of harassment in educational institutions.
